S*x For Role Allegation: Actress, MO Bimpe Finally Open Up On What Transpired Between Her And Yomi Fabiyi

Nollywood actress, Bimpe Oyebade, aka Mo Bimpe has finally addressed her fight with controversial movie producer, Yomi Fabiyi over sex for role allegation.

It could be recalled that in July last year, the actress alleged that Fabiyi stopped casting her in movies because she refused to give in to his advances.

She said;

“The major reason is because I didn’t make myself available for his sexual needs despite how much he tried but doing this to a child is just too much. Yomi fabiyi needs to be stopped! Enough is enough .

Thank God for his grace ,if not I would have given up on this dream a long time ago because of his constant ,harassment, bully and threats!”.

However, in an interview with Sunday Scoop the same month, Fabiyi stated that being an actor did not mean that he could not have romantic feelings.

The actor also noted that sexual attraction was different from sexual harassment.

 “Ask her if she made sexual advances to me and not vice versa. I did not notice her first. She was the one that noticed me. Besides, if we did make advances at each other, we are both adults. The most important thing is that there was no force. Do not make it look like because I am an actor, I do not have a right to have emotions or sexual feelings.

“Sexual attraction is different from sexual harassment. We need to educate these young people. We are talking about sexual harassment and she is talking about ‘toasting’. Is that not silly?” A part of his statement reads.

One year later, Mo Bimpe has finally revealed what transpired between her and Yomi Fabiyi.

She revealed this during a question and answer session with fans.

A fan had asked; “Is it true that u and yomi dey fight becuz of sex for role?

In response, Mo Bimpe said;

“No! In fact he didn’t ask me out till we finished his movie I featured in( tho he said if he knew I was going to turn him down then he would have done that before shooting the movie).

We don’t relate cos he insisted on either dating me or being enemies and I had to choose.”
