“I Love Davido & Burnaboy”- Wizkid Declares (VIDEO)
In a recent concert, superstar singer, Wizkid declared his love for his fellow entertainers, Davido and Burnaboy.
Wizkid stated that there must be unity in afro beats, and he has love for Davido and Burnaboy. He also appreciated fans for their support, stating that if not for them, they wouldn’t have made it this far in the music industry.

In another news, few months ago, Nigerian singer and politician, Banky W revealed that Wizkid still owed Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), three albums when he left the label.
He revealed this in an interview with Bounce Network’s Ebuka on the BlackBox interview series.
It could be recalled that Wizkid had joined EME in 2014, releasing two albums, Superstar (2011) and Ayo (2014). He left the label in 2014.
Speaking in the interview, Banky who is the CEO of the music label, addressed his relationship with Wizkid, their contract, and their relationship after his exit alongside his wife, Adesua Etomi.
On Wizkid’s exit, Banky W noted that when the singer was ready to leave, he had not fulfilled the terms of his contract .
Accordng to him, Starboy only released two of the five solo albums stipulated in his contract.
In his words;
“I think it was a five-album deal, and he had done two solo albums… I think he still owed three more albums, but he wanted to leave. And for me, that was enough because I don’t want anybody to stay where they want to stay.”
When asked if had tried to convince Wizkid to stay,Banky W replied;
“No, because I could tell that mentally he was ready to do other things. For me, I just felt like some things are just meant to happen for a season, and that was the season we were meant to work together.”
Banky went on to address Wizkid’s absence at his wedding to Adesua. He notedthat while he was disappointed, he knows Big Wiz tried his best.
