“You Defined My Essence, You Took The Rough To Put Me On The Turf Of Life”- Actor Francis Duru Pens Heartfelt Message As He Loses Dad

Veteran nollywood actor, Francis Duru has penned an heartfelt tribute to his late dad who passed on hours ago.

Sharing a photo with his dad, Francis wrote:

“My last pix with you..dad..memories of yesterday..u defined my essence…built my being…took the tough and the rough to put me on the turf…of life..I salute you dad…as you took your last bow and transitted to glory…u broke my heart this morning when you refused to wake..mum just left..you too ..hmm…so heavy…so painful…thank you..thank you…thank you dad for all..thank you..Will miss you…”

Duru debuted into the Nigerian movie industry in 1989 with a movie titled Missing Mark. The movie was directed by the now deceased director; Ndubuisi Oko. Duru’s feature in the movie did not do enough for his career as at the time he was still regarded as an up and coming actor.

Duru became more prominent in the Nigerian movie industry in 1994 after featuring in an action comedy movie titled Rattle Snake a movie produced by now deceased director; Amaka Igwe.
