“I’m Too Happy”- Davido Congratulates Nengi On Her Gage Award Win

Star singer, Davido, has congratulated reality TV star, Nengi Rebecca Hampson on her Gage Award Win. Nengi was awarded as the online Influencer of the year.

Announcing her latest victory, the Bayelsan born television star shared an appreciation video with the words:

“Gage Awards • Thankful to @gageawards for the Online Influencer of the year award. I am also immensely grateful to all my fans for voting. I love you all❤️”

Taking to her comment section, Davido stated that he is just too happy for her. See screenshot below:

A lot of celebrities have showered praises on Nengi. Last month,  Annie Idibia praised Nengi’s acting skill and personality,  she wrote:

“I love the way she’s willing to learn, takes corrections, so eager to get it right!  Ability to always listen, her calmness, her ginger Dey another level oooooooo Nengiofficial you did so well today”

On seeing her post, Nengi reposted. She wrote:

“OMG..coming from you this means a lot. Thank you Annie 💕”

However, the Bbnaija ex-housemate is still being trolled by non-fans daily. While influencing for popular brand Guinness, Nengi  opened up about her reasons for always ignoring trolls.

According to her, there is no use paying attention to faceless people on the internet who chooses to insult people whom they can’t even have access to.

Her words:

“A lot of people feel like they need to have an opinion about what you do with your life. I try to take the love in and not pay attention to trolls. I mean why would I pay attention to faceless people.”

She also added:

“The goal is to work harder to always remain the blueprint. Everyday is an opportunity to showcase that I’m more than my face.”

“When I went for big brother, I told biggie that I wanted people to see the real me, to see what’s inside, because people just see the physical appearance and assume what they want to assume. I’ve achieved what I wanted to achieve. I’m a pretty girl who goes for what she want”
