Alaafin Oyo’s Senior Wife, Olori Kafayat Dies Weeks After Husband’s Passing
Olori Kafayat, one of the wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, has joined him in the afterlife, a few weeks after he died.
It was gathered that the Queen who is the fourth Olori of the late traditional ruler and mother of Prince Adebayo Adeyemi, died on Friday, July 1st, 2022, in the United States of America.
However, the cause of her death is yet unknown at the time of this publication.
The news of her death was confirmed on Saturday morning without details by the Director of Media and Publicity at the Alaafin Palace, Mr. Bode Durojaye.
Note that before her death, Olori Kafayat was the chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pensions Board.
