The role interpreter recalled a period when she was going through some painful moments in the UK because of her tough job and she wept bitterly. When she decided to come back home, some people were shocked to see that she was alive.

She said;

“The prayer is the key to everything in life. There are ups and down.
At times, I remember those days in London, when we went to work.
You know they will have different kinds of weather in London.
At times there used to be cold. So cold. When it gets to bitterly cold…
(She then phrased in Yoruba Language saying;) When everything gets frozen and stiff!
At times, you will be bleeding and you don’t even know that you are bleeding.
From the Nose, Yes, it happened to me several times and one day I was going and I cried.
I will never forget that song that I sang. When I go, I said Okay.. If I take the train,
I was living far and working in Richmond. Hmm!… South East to South West.
(She laughed)… If I take the train, it’s faster….
You know since I am a other and When I try to take from my salary while the train stops within some hours,
I know it will affect this and that… So I said let me take a bus. Taking the bus, that means I have to do like
5 stop overs, which means I have to travel like three and half hours, to get to work.
So, my work starts at 8am minus when I got on the first bus. to travel the 3 and half hours.
And when I go and see that it’s too far, so I decided to do 2 jobs.
That was when I started Richmond 8am and finished 8pm. Then, I move… I would run to the bus stop,
before the other bus comes like 15 minutes later.
So I have to be there on time….”
