BBNaija:”Reason I Changed My Name From Ebuka To Michael”-Michael Discloses
Big Brother Naija Housemate, Michael has revealed the reason he changed his name from Ebuka to Michael.
During an interaction he had with his fellow new housemate, Kayvee, Michael disclosed that he also bears the name ‘Ebuka’ and would have used the same name to get into the house but he was advised to change it and he did so at the last minute.
According to the housemate, bearing the same name with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu would have led to a clash of personalities.
He said,
“I was advised not to use Ebuka as my stage name. I felt using it would have been a conflict of interest.”
“When you hear BBNaija, you remember Ebuka. He has made a brand from the name, so I had to change my name to Michael at the last minute.”
On the other hand, Kayvee too revealed he wanted to take up the stage name ‘Koko’ but refrained himself from using it after he realised the name has already been used by most people in the entertainment industry.
