Why you shouldn’t allow family members to live with you — Reno Omokri tells newlyweds
Nigerian author, Reno Omokri has stated that it is wrong for newlyweds to invite their relatives into their marital home.
He gave this advice via his, Instagram page.
According to him, the couple may not be able to strengthen their bond if they bring their relatives to live with them after their wedding
Reno Omokri noted that newlyweds need privacy to be able to play around with each other, and chase each other around naked just like it was in the Garden of Eden where marriage was first instituted.
The human rights activist added that the cause of the rampant divorce and crashed marriages is a result of people allowing their in-laws and relatives to come into their home after they wedding.
In his words;
“Dear couples, after your wedding, note that you need time to strengthen your marriage Union. If you bring in relatives to live with you, you may not be able to strengthen your bond.
You need a house that is so free that both of you can chase each other naked around it, like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
This is how many homes are destroyed. Two imperfect people marry. Out of foolishness, they allow in-laws live with them from the get-go…”
