Nollywood actress, Nwachukwu Esther, has called out Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, over the lifting of the ban imposed on Adanma Luke.

Recently, social media buzzed with reports that AGN has lifted the ban it imposed on its member, Adanma Luke, and filming in riverine areas.

It’s worth noting that Adanma Luke was the producer of the movie ‘The Other Side of Life,’ which Junior Pope featured in before his tragic passing.

Recall that Junior Pope tragically lost his life after the boat that carried him and other crew members capsized on their way back from a movie set.

In a video shared on Instagram, Esther Nwachukwu questioned the Nollywood industry over the appointment of Emeka Rollas as the president of AGN, and stated that they disregard human lives.

She further noted that the AGN’s decision to lift the ban on Adanma Luke implied that Junior Pope’s death was meaningless to them, and accused Adanma Luke of showing no sympathy for her colleague’s death.
