“Please release Omah Lay and Tems, we don’t want wahala”- Tacha tells Uganda Police authorities
Fast rising singers, Omah Lay and Tems were arrested in Uganda after a music show. The artistes were arrested for going against the Covid-19 guidelines in the country by performing in a crowded place. Reality TV star Tacha and some other celebrities have lended their voice to this issue, calling for a release of Tems and Omah Lay.
Tacha tweeted:
“Dear Ugandan, please release our artiste to us safely. We don’t want wahala. Thank you.”
Her fellow bbnaija ex-housemate Laycon also tweeted:
“Wasn’t there any prior publicity about the show? Why wasn’t it shut down before it was held? Why are you arresting some particular artistes that performed? Who organised the show?”
