Reality TV Star Kim Kardashian Graduates From Law School After 6 Years

Kim Kardashian has marked a major milestone with her graduation from her law program after six years of college. The 44-year-old reality star and businesswoman completed California’s Law Office Study Program—a non-traditional path allowing legal apprentices to study under licensed lawyers instead of attending law school.

This demanding course required over 5,100 hours of coursework—18 hours a week for 48 weeks per year. Kardashian celebrated the milestone with an unscheduled backyard graduation in Beverly Hills, flanked by friends and family members. She shared tearful moments with her kids and role models.

The ceremony included personal touches such as placemats made from her flashcards, and her children wearing clothes to honor their late grandfather, Robert Kardashian Sr. Mentor Jessica Jackson praised her commitment, observing she was able to study while raising four kids, operating businesses, making TV shows, and pushing for justice reform.

Kardashian began her own legal career in 2018, inspired by her father and passion for criminal justice. She finally passed the “baby bar” on try number four in 2021 and then the professional responsibility exam. Her next goal is to pass the California Bar to become a practicing attorney.
