“I Have Lost Nine Children Through Miscarriages” – Actress, Sharon Stone Shares her Heartbreaking Story
American actress, Sharon Stone, 64, has discussed suffering nine miscarriages with her husband.
She shared her story while commenting on an Instagram post by People.
Dancing With The Stars performer, Peta Murgatroyd, 35 had opened up about losing a pregnancy while her husband Maks Chmerkovskiy, 42, was away in Ukraine.
Reacting to this via the comment section, Sharon Stone shared her own experience with pregnancy loss.
According to her, she suffered nine miscarriages with her husband.
She wrote;
“We, as females don’t have a forum to discuss the profundity of this loss. I lost nine children by miscarriage.
It is no small thing, physically nor emotionally,’ the star – who has three sons through adoption – went on.
Yet we are made to feel it is something to bear alone and secretly with some kind of sense of failure. Instead of receiving the much needed compassion and empathy and healing which we so need.’
Female health and wellness left to the care of the male ideology has become lax at best, ignorant in fact, and violently oppressive in effort,’ she wrote, wrapping up her message. “
After suffering 7 miscarriages, Sharon Stone adopted three sons, Quinn, Laird and Roan.
This is not the first time she is talking about an emotional personal subject as she has once reflected on her miscarriages and praised the ‘global sisterhood’ for now speaking out about ‘issues of loss and heartache’.
