Kim Kardashian Speaks Against Supreme Court Ending The Right To Abortion
American model, Kim Kardashian has spoken against the Supreme Court ruling against abortion.
It could be recalled that the Supreme Court of the United States put an end to half a century of guaranteeing the right of American women to abortion.
The conservative-dominated court overturned the landmark 1973 “Roe v Wade” decision that enshrined a woman’s right to an abortion.
According to the court, individual states can now permit or restrict the procedure themselves.
“The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled, and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives,” the court said.
Reacting to this via her Instagram story, Kim Kardashian spoke on the lack of women’s rights.
“In America, guns have more rights than women” She wrote.
She also shared a post that reads;
“When you take away someone’s ability to make their own decisions about their own body, they are no longer a full citizen. They now longer have freedom, bodily autonomy or basic civil rights . That’s the American that the supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe V. Wade just created.”
