“I Alone Cannot Have Him to Myself” — Woman Says She’s Fine With Husband’s Cheating

A Nigerian woman has stirred conversations online after a candid interview surfaced on Instagram, in which she opened up about her husband’s addiction to sex and repeated infidelity, revealing that she has chosen not to be bothered by it for the sake of her mental and physical health.

In the clip, which has been widely circulated, the woman spoke openly about her marriage of one year, describing her husband as a man who places sex at the top of his priorities—even to the extent of denying her in public if intimacy was at stake.

“My husband is someone that will deny his wife just because of sex. Even when we were dating till now, he loves sex. He doesn’t joke with anything concerning sex,” she stated.

Despite this, she acknowledged that her husband is a caring man who prioritises his family and provides for both her and his parents. This balance, according to her, makes his sexual behaviour tolerable in her eyes.

“On the other hand, he puts his family first and is caring,” she added.

What shocked many viewers, however, was her bold admission that she is not disturbed by his infidelity, stressing that she has made peace with the fact that one woman alone may not be enough for him.

“As for that, I’m not complaining. I’m comfortable with it because I alone cannot have him to myself. One woman alone cannot be the one in charge,” she said.

Her decision, she explained, is rooted in self-preservation. She noted that stressing over his cheating could trigger a health crisis, something she actively avoids by accepting the situation.

“I tend to avoid some things in order not to have high BP of 180,” she said. “I’m not bothered if I catch him cheating. It’s his money he’s spending. If he spends for his wife and parent, that’s okay.”

The controversial remarks have sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some users expressing shock at her perspective, while others commended her for choosing peace over confrontation.

Many commenters questioned the long-term emotional toll such tolerance might have on a marriage, while others praised her for being pragmatic and prioritising her health and family support over what they see as a fight she cannot win.

The clip continues to gain traction across platforms, adding to the ongoing discourse around fidelity, modern marriage expectations, and emotional survival in relationships.
