"Your Opinions Are Yours, My Opinions Are Mine"- Emdee Tiamiyu, The Man Who Revealed On BBC That Nigerians Use UK Study Route To JAPA, Says After Interview (VIDEO)

Videos of Nigerian YouTuber and self acclaimed japa-ship coach seemingly selling out Nigerians , alleging Nigerians are using student visas as escape route, as gone viral.

According to Emdee Tiamiyu, the native of Osun state, who posed with the username emdeetiamiyu on social media Nigerians going to the UK for studies are not necessarily going there for studies but are using the student visa as an entry into the UK to escape Nigeria.

This comes hours after Home Secretary Suella Braverman, made the official ban known as part of the mechanism to reduce net migration.

The Home Secretary said all foreign students, apart from those on postgraduate research programmes will be prevented from bringing their spouses, children or parents from January 2024.

In his words:

They come to the UK not because they need the degree, they use the degree as an access route to come into the country (Japa escape route).”

Popular commentator on Twitter, Dr Penking wrote:

“This is Emdee Tiamiyu, from Osun State. This is the man that has destroyed the hope of millions of Nigerians in this generation and generation unborn by revealing the means they use to escape poverty, oppression and hardship in Nigeria. He is domiciled in UK. Himself, Emdee Tiamiyu migrated to UK as a dependent but has now cut the ladder behind him, by granting a completely unnecessary interview for 3 minutes of cheap fame on television
