Ndidi missed October’s double-header against the Central African Republic due to injury he suffered against Burnley on September 22nd.

The 24-year-old is among the 22 players who are part of Gernot Rohr’s side in the World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.

He said:

“It is amazing, seeing the players and getting that feeling back is really amazing. I’m very happy to be back with the team and we look forward to what we want to achieve in the future.”

Ndidi added that the team is perfecting strategies for the game and he’s confident they will come out on top.

“It has been pretty good, amazing seeing all the players put in the work. We are just trying to prepare for the game, getting the tactics and learning from our mistakes and taking that into the game.” He told Super Eagles media channel.
