“Without Me, Trump Would Have Lost the Election” — Elon Musk’s Sh@cking Claim Fuels Controversy Online

Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of X (formerly Twitter) and CEO of Tesla, has once again stirred controversy, this time with a bold political claim. Responding to a clip where Donald Trump appeared to downplay his role in the 2024 election, Musk fired back with a striking statement:

“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.”

The comment quickly gained traction, sparking heated discussions across social media and political circles. Musk’s post came amid an ongoing feud between him and Trump, mainly over what Musk referred to as the “One Big Beautiful Bill”, a large tax and spending proposal that he argues stripped away key electric vehicle incentives and pushed up the national debt.

Trump reportedly criticized Musk for only opposing the bill after realizing it cut EV support. Musk, however, denied being informed about the bill beforehand, later calling it a “disgusting abomination.”

The back-and-forth has taken an even darker turn, with Musk accusing Trump of being ungrateful and even hinting at past ties between Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.

This latest clash highlights just how influential tech leaders like Musk have become in modern politics. Whether you believe his claim or not, his statement, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election”, has reignited debate about the growing power of billionaires in shaping America’s political future.
