Legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has finally opened up about his separation from his longtime partner and actress, Annie Idibia, during a recent podcast chat with Nedu and his co-hosts.

When asked about the reasons behind their split and whether there’s anything he wished he had done differently, 2Baba responded with honesty while remaining respectful and reserved.

“I believe we both gave it our all,” he shared.
“As for why we’re not together today, that’s not something I want to start discussing publicly. We have our own understanding. She’s an amazing woman, like I’ve always said, but it just wasn’t working anymore. That’s the simple truth.”
