Nigerian-born Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has not only survived cancer, but he’s also giving back in a big way. In an emotional video that has got many social media users across the world talking, the well-known preacher announced on June 6, 2025, that he had just come out of a major battle with cancer and won.

Photos earlier showed him weak in a hospital bed, hooked up to machines, fighting for his life. But against all odds, Pastor Tobi made it through. He raised his hand in victory from the hospital bed, a symbol of hope for many. Doctors called his recovery a rare miracle.

What makes his story even more powerful is his act of kindness. Right after surviving, he donated £100,000 to support cancer awareness and treatment for young people battling the same disease. His message is clear: “I lived, and now I want others to live too.”
