“Obama Used To Give Me Money To Buy Clothes For Shows When I Was Still An Upcoming Artist”- Zlatan Pays Tribute To Davido’s Aide
Last night, fast rising singer, Zlatan Ibile paid tribute to the late Obama DMW at the candlelight event held for him in Orange Island, Lagos.
According to Zlatan, Habeeb Uthman, aka Obama DMW, who died after a heart failure on June 29 in a Lagos hospital looks “hard online” but is a “very sweet person”.
He added that when he was still an up-and-coming artist, Obama used to send him money to buy clothes so he can look good for his shows.
Yesterday, in a viral video, Jamil & Imade, children of superstar singers, Davido and Tiwa Savage also shared their fondest memories of the late Habeeb, popularly known as Obama.
Jamil said:
“My fondest memory of uncle habeeb….he cared for me, he was always there for me, he gave me flowers & hugged me.”
Imade also shared her fondest memory of Obama, she said:
“He was always happy to see me, he sends lovely messages and always told me he loves me. Bye.”
