Amy Luciani has filed for divorce from NBA star Dwight Howard just six months after their wedding, citing that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for reconciliation.”
The couple, who tied the knot on January 11, 2025, following a surprise engagement in December 2024, are now headed for separation, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The divorce was filed on July 1, 2025, in the state of Georgia.
Luciani is also requesting alimony and an equal division of marital assets as part of the proceedings.
Notably, she had recently defended Howard against claims of being an absent father, standing by him publicly and demonstrating her commitment to the relationship amid criticism.
