A Nigerian man has come under fire for saying Wizkid shouldnt have laughed or danced at his mother’s funeral yesterday. Recall that during the wake keep, Wizkid wept terribly as he remembered his late mum.

Being Yoruba, I understand that when someone dies after a certain age, it is called the “Celebration of Life”. How the family members choose to celebrate is up to the celebrant(s) and what the deceased may have wanted. If the celebrant is blessed to have raised successful children, be sure to know that the burial ceremony will be a carnival.
