Funke described Tems as the pride of Nigeria, Africa and women all over the world. She also stated that Tems win is an inspiration to the young women out there to keep pushing against all boundaries, keep working hard, stay original to their craft.

After receiving her first Grammy Award for her contribution on Feature’s song “Wait For U,” Tems has been trending on social media for a few hours.

Tems was seen on camera on the red carpet with celebrities including Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, and others looking stunning in her gown.

At the event, Tems was seen smiling and shaking hands with Rick Ross. She was also seen taking selfies with Mary J. Blige, a veteran American singer-songwriter.
