“There’s No Nigerian That Needs More Than N100K Cash Weekly” – Reno Omokri Speaks On CBN Cash Withdrawal Limit Policy

Nigerian actor, author and activist, Reno Omokri has taken to his  social media page to share his opinion on the recently imposed cash withdrawal limit by the Central Bank of Nigeria

It would  be recalled that the CBN recently restricted the maximum cash withdrawal over-the-counter (OTC) by individuals and corporate organizations per week to N100,000 and N500,000, respectively.
 

Nigerians have heavily criticized the policy immediately the announcement was made public.

Reacting to criticisms that have trailed the policy, Omokri stated that there is no Nigerian that needs more than N100K cash weekly.
 

He added that other than paying for transport fares or buying groceries, everything can be done cashless.

In his words, he tweeted; “There is no Nigerian that needs more than ?100k cash weekly. Other than paying bus conductor or buying groceries, everything can be done cashless. It is kidnappers, bandits and sexual bandits (urgent 2k girls) who are fighting this policy using political godfathers”.

In other news, Popular Nollywood actress, Nnaji Christy has taken to her Instagram page to question men who do not have intimacy with their wife.

In her latest Instagram story, the actress said that men who do not have intimacy with the wife are cheating on them or is either they are gay.

In her post, she wrote;

“We are in a society where some guys are gays in disguise” .

“Do not quote me wrong, what’s your excuse for not having Intimacy with the women you claim to love?”.

“If you are not a gay or having sex elsewhere”.

“Love comes with feelings, if after several body contact, the guy does not respond with any feelings my dear that guy na your fellow human”.

“No cap, emotional stress does not even stop feelings especially if it’s coming from someone you claim to love”.
