Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke also known as Davido has opened up on how he discovered newly signed talent, Morravey and why he signed her to his record label, DMW.
In an interview with Beats FM, Davido stated that he was just scrolling through different reels on Instagram and suddenly came across a girl doing a cover to one of Peruzzi’s songs, which he found really amazing. He added that his wife, Chioma was sitting in the same room and asked “who is singing”, he had to show Chioma the video. Minutes later, he scrolled through the comment section of the page that uploaded the video, he finally saw Morravey’s main page and told her immediately ‘i want to sign you’, she was shocked……..
Morravey was recently featured on one of Davido’s songs “in the garden” which has already gotten over a million streams in one week of release.
