“It’s insensitive” — Cross T@ckles First Lady Aisha Buhari For Posting Her Daughter On Her Graduation Amidst Ongoing ASUU Strike

Nigerian fitness enthusiast, entrepreneur, and reality TV star, Cross Okonkwo has tackled Nigerian first lady, Aisha Buhari following a congratulatory message she posted on social media to her Daughter Mrs. Zahra B. Buhari, on her graduation amidst ongoing ASUU strike.

She wrote; “Congratulations to Mrs. Zahra B Buhari on your graduation with first class honor Architectural science. Wish you all the best!”

Cross among other Nigerians responded to her post terming it insensitive, called her as a mother of the nation to show concern not only to her biological children but also other millions Nigerians that are at home due to the lingering strike.

He wrote; “To me this is very insensitive Ma. Your the mother of the nation and over 92% of your children are not going to school atm and just because one of your biological children finished from school. Which is Kool and what not. But don’t come online and rub it on your other children face.”

In 2022, ASUU declared a one-month strike, beginning February 14, 2022. Some of the lecturer’s demands include the revitalisation of public universities, earned allowance, improved funding of state universities, and promotion arrears.
