Arsenal was short of a man in the beginning stages of the encounter when the referee pointed to the spot and showed David Luiz a red card after hitting Tammy Abraham of Chelsea when he had rounded up the goal keeper and about to score.

Jorginho stepped forward to take the penalty and he placed it at the bottom right corner of the goal post making it a little bit far for the Arsenal goalie to save.

With Arsenal been cut down to 10 men Chelsea were dominant on the pitch until Martinelli long distance run paid off with Kante just slipping off while the youngster was running towards goal with the ball.

That goal made it Martinelli’s 10th league and cup goal of the season.
With much pressure from the host, Chelsea thought they had won with Azpilicueta scoring from the near post with just six minutes left to play, but the high spirited Arsenal side pulled one back with Bellerin scoring from a beautiful shot just outside the box.

Chelsea still remain at the fourth position clear of fifth placed Mamchester United.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Nigerian winger Victor Moses was spotted at Italy when arriving for his medicals at Inter Milan in a deal which will see him move to Inter on loan with an option to buy for Italian team.
