Afrobeats icon Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has responded to claims suggesting he’s facing financial difficulties.

While speaking on the +234 Mzansi Podcast, hosted by actor and media personality Nedu (Chinedu Ani Emmanuel), the award-winning singer made it clear that he is financially secure, thanks to years of smart investments.

“I’m not broke. I invested my money. I can live with or without music,” he stated.

The ‘African Queen’ star, often celebrated as one of Nigeria’s most successful artists, also has business interests outside the music industry.

His portfolio includes ventures in real estate, hospitality, and his record label—moves he credits for his financial stability.
