Sweezzy, the elder brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has dismissed claims of drug abuse allegedly made against him by her husband, Ned Nwoko.

Recent reports revealed that Regina Daniels had cried out over alleged domestic violence in her marriage. A viral video showed the actress surrounded by men as one of her brothers, Sammy West, defended her against men allegedly sent by her husband.

In a public statement, Nwoko had blamed the tension on what he described as Regina’s “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” He further claimed that Sammy West, who presented himself as Daniels’ brother, was actually her drug supplier and that his attempts to help her seek professional treatment were resisted.

Responding to the allegations, Sweezzy took to Instagram to clarify the situation. He acknowledged that no marriage is without challenges but emphasized that he chose not to speak earlier.

“Lol, where that girl wey say I no suppose dey post my Cana again? Before Ned, I steady on my kpo, After Ned, I still dey do my kpo. As I no talk so make una avoid me. No marriage without problems, but remember, I decided not to speak. There’s no perfect couple,” he wrote.

Sweezzy also made it clear that his younger sister is not involved in any drug-related issues. “PS: Regina Daniels is not affiliated with any drug abuse or misuse. She is not granting any useless interviews or tryna feed y’all timelines! Anything wey go up must come down. Shout-out to y’all for your concerns, love, texts and check-ups. None is being taken for granted,” he added.
