“Thank God I Didn’t Abo*rt You Despite The Shame I Went Through”- Broda Shaggi ‘s Mum Says, Prays For Him
Mother of popular comedian, Broda Shaggi has showered Prayers on him as she recalled how she almost aborted him.
In a chat with her son, she wrote:
“You are forever favoured by God and it is permanent. My heart, my life, you are good to me and God will be good to you throughout your life. I’m glad whenever my heart picks your picture. I thank God I didnt abort you or listen to the shameful talk I faced in life. I appreciate God.”
On her birthday few months ago, Broda Shaggi penned a beautiful message to her:
“To the Love of my life, to the woman who became my father, to the one who supported all my dreams with prayers, to the woman who brought me up in good manners, to the woman who told me “ you will be a king “
Happy birthday my forever Love , my own Queen . This is the beginning of your happiness and there shall be no end . I love you mum. Happy Birthday Omolara ”
In a related news, Broda Shaggi has revealed that he started entertainment out of hunger. According to him, when hunger hits you, you will discover your talent.
According to Broda Shaggi, he was not born with a silver spoon neither did he grow up in Lekki.
He stated that he left Ikenne his hometown after his dad passed away. And then, he moved quickly to Lagos.
His aunt in Makoko took him in, cared and catered for him. And also, she helped him to further his education.
His words:
“I came from Ikenne in Ogun state. I left Ikene when my father died for Lagos where I lived with my aunt in the Makoko area. She was the one who took care of me till l left the university. So, I was neither born with a silver spoon nor grew up in Lekki. Everything started in Makoko.”
He started making skits on Instagram, a move that was driven by hunger and poverty.
He said,
“I started entertainment out of hunger. When poverty hits you, you’ll be the one to figure out your talent.”
