“Why Junior Pope Was Not Referred To As “HUSBAND” On His Funeral Announcement (DETAIL)
The burial arrangement banner of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope has surfaced online, attracting a lot of attention.
Mr Odonwodo, popularly called Junior Pope, and four other crew members died in a boat mishap in Anam River in Anambra State, on 10th of April while returning from a movie shoot.
Jnr Pope’s funeral arrangements began on April 23 with a requiem service at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State, according to his family’s announcement on his burial poster.
According to the funeral announcement on the poster, signed by Divine Odonwodo on behalf of the family, another requiem mass will be held on May 13 at Christ the King Catholic Parish, G.R.A, Enugu.
On May 14, an evening of tributes and candlelight will be held in Enugu’s Amadeo Event Centre beginning at 5 p.m.
On May 16, a wake will be held at his country house in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, a village in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu state
The Nollywood actor will finally be laid to rest on Friday 17 May at his country home after a burial mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe. Interment will follow immediately after the burial of the actor.
However, some eagle-eyed netizens were quick to notice the ‘husband’ was not included in the tributes to the actor.
The movie producer and actor, Stanley Ontop has also come out on social media to give reasons for this shocking revelation about the poster.
