“I’m Quitting Music”- Singer Doja Cat Announces, Makes U-turn Few Hours Later, Gives Reasons

According to reports in March 2022, Doja Cat, the popular singer and rapper, posted a series of tweets suggesting that she was considering retiring from the music industry.

The announcement came after a cancellation of her appearance at the Asunciónico Festival in Paraguay due to flooding. Some fans were disappointed by Doja’s lack of communication about the cancellation and felt that she was not engaging with them online or in person during her stay in Paraguay.

As a result, a few fans on Twitter expressed their frustration and disappointment with Doja, which prompted her to tweet about her possible retirement from music. In previous tweet she said;

However, in more recent updates or interviews, DojaCat has apparently walked back her statement about retiring from music. She has indicated that she intends to finish her album before taking a break from music, but she has not given any specific timeline for when she plans to step away.
