“Davido’s Late Mom Rescued My Own Son From Dr0wning” – Oba Adedokun Abolarin Says As He Commiserates With Davido’s Family
As Nigerian afrobeat singer, Davido and his fiance, Chioma still mourn the passed away of their beloved son, Ifeanyi revelations and tribute continue to surface online.
Oba Adedokun Abolarin, The Orangun of Oke-Ila in Osun State shared via his official Facebook account that it was Davido’s late mum, Dr. Mrs. Veronica Adeleke who rescued his own son from drowning.
According to Oba Adedokun, this happened over 25 years ago. He details that he is, indeed saddened that no one could pay Davido’s late mom back in his own coin, by rescuing her grandson.

I am sad, what Veronica did for my son years back, nobody, I mean nobody to play the same role for Veronica’s grandson Ifeanyi!!! Recall, the demise of Ify Adeleke happened on the 31st of October, 2022 after the 3-year-old drowned in their family swimming pool.
Police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin told the broadcaster that one of couple’s domestic staff called the police at 10pm local time (9pm GMT) on Monday.
He confirmed that eight members of staff had been invited in for questioning.
“We are reviewing the CCTV cameras to get additional information about the circumstances of his death,” Hundeyin said.
“His body has been deposited in the morgue. We are in touch with his parents. In fact they were with us last night.”
