Popular Nollywood actress, Toke Makinwa has reacted following the death of IVD’S wife.

In her latest tweet, the 37-year- old actress stated that domestic violence should not be encouraged and tolerated in the society at any cost.

She also adviced that people facing domestic violence in their marriage should flee  first and get help from their families.

She also adviced that people facing or passing through domestic violence should not be adviced to stay and forge ahead in their marriage.

In her tweet, Toke wrote;

“Domestic violence should not be tolerated or endured “.

“Please stop begging people to stay or manage”.

“Get family members out first and then seek help towards healing them”.

“No one should be judged for leaving a situation that treathens their well being”.

“May God not let us meet , befriend, marry and eventually die by the hands of our enemies we confuse as lovers”.

“Love is not enough to save some situations, leave so that the both of you can get the help you need “.

“Focus on co- parenting and be alive to celebrate the milestones for your children”.

“I blame the foolish culture that attaches so much validation to status quo, the pressure to get married, stay married and have kids , it’s too much”.

“Half of the people who want to leave are afraid and the fear is not for real”.

“Is it not better these couples separate and are still with us”.

“Society_ do this, do that , see your mates, at your age and the list is endless”.
