Nigerian Dancer Korra Obidi Was Almost Denied Access to Atlanta Flight Because Of Her Outfit (VIDEO)
Nigerian dancer and social media influencer, Korra Obidi, has made headlines once again this time, not for her dance moves or unfiltered live videos, but for a wardrobe controversy.
While trying to board a flight to Atlanta, Korra was reportedly refused admission by airline staff. Eyewitnesses claim that the social media influencer was dressed in a revealing dress which was against the airline’s conduct policy and of course, it sparked a brief standoff at the boarding gate.
The viral post circulating online showed Korra, finally, agreeing to the airline’s request by putting on a jacket to cover herself before boarding was allowed. The incident has generated both positive and negative reactions on social media. Some fans commend her for remaining calm while handling the situation and quickly adapting, while others criticize the dress code policies of the airline as being too strict or vague.
Known for daring fashion statements and body positivity, Korra has yet to release an official statement; consequently, one wonders if she wouldn’t address the moment in her usual confident way.
