Amos Isah, founder of Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry in Gwagwaada, Abuja, has been apprehended by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.

The arrest occurred last week, shocking the local community where Isah was known for his energetic preaching and powers of divine authority.

Located behind Noble Noel Academy, opposite Gwagwaada Market, his church has garnered many worshippers. According to SaharaReporters, Isah’s Facebook page often featured posts promoting holiness and morality. The pastor’s last service was on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, with a service held the next day, June 19, this time in his absence.

Sources told SaharaReporters that Isah allegedly use his spiritual influence to manipulate the minor. FCID insiders confirmed the victim’s age and the nature of the assault but attempts to contact Isah were unsuccessful.

Allegations suggest some police officers are working to protect Isah and suppress publicity. Due to the case’s sensitivity and Isah’s notoriety, investigators are proceeding tactfully.
