Popular Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has opened up about the challenges in her past marriage to actor Adeniyi Johnson, admitting that her stubbornness played a role in their separation. She also revealed how her current husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, set clear expectations from the beginning of their relationship.

In a video shared on The Announcer TV’s official YouTube channel, Toyin shared during an interview that her past behavior affected her former marriage. However, she now embraces a more mature approach, shaped by experience and motherhood.

Reflecting on the shift in her mindset, Toyin said, “I was very stubborn in my previous marriage, but my present husband told me I must be submissive. I agreed because I’ve learned valuable lessons from my past. I’m a different woman now — more mature. Back then, I used to get angry over the smallest things. But today, with two kids and a stable home, I’ve grown. There are certain things I simply don’t do anymore.”
