Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has mocked music executive and Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy, but his fans gathered around the X platform to defend him.
Wizkid mocked the Mavins record owner while reacting to shade fired at him by Mavin signee, Ladipoe.

Ladipoe who is a rapper and signed to Don Jazzy’s label; Mavin records had mocked Wizkid for his controversial “hip hop is dead” statement.

“Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own,” Ladipoe wrote via X.
A fan called Wizkid’s attention to the shade on Monday morning but the Starboy boss said, “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”
He also retweeted two tweets suggesting that he was referring to Don Jazzy as a social media influencer.
