Popular Afrobeats singer, Davido has stirred a wave of reactions online as he reveals the only three tribes in Nigeria.
The Afrobeats star, Davido told American streamer, Kai Cenat there are only three tribes in Nigeria, and he included his late mom’s state, Edo.
Speaking, Davido said: “In Nigeria we have only 3 tribes, we have the Yoruba, my dad is from Yoruba, in Nigeria anywhere your dad is from that’s where you’re from, we have the Igbos, that’s where my wife is from, and we have the Benin, that’s where my mom is from.”
Netizens have reacted to Davido’s statement, reminding him that there are three MAJOR tribes in Nigeria, they are Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba. Also, there are 371 tribes in Nigeria.
