“Love Is Just One Of The Qualities That You Need But….” – Actress, Damilola Adegbite Reveals Why She Divorced Chris Attoh After Two Years

Damilola Adegbite, a Nollywood actress, has been vocal about the dissolution of her marriage to Ghanaian movie star Chris Attoh.

The actors tied the knot in a secret ceremony in 2015 after giving birth to a boy together in 2014. On the set of the award-winning soap serial “Tinsel,” Chris and Damilola met and became friends.

In an interview with renowned journalist Chude Jideonwo, the actress gave her reasons for divorcing Chris.

In September 2017, the couple divorced. But Damilola emphasized that she does not regret getting divorced from her ex-husband.

The single mother continued by saying that she only has regard for Chris Attoh because he is the father of her son.

Damilola said; “Love is not enough. When you meet somebody and you want to spend your life with them, love is just one of the qualities that you need. But it is not everything.”
