Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, aka Jenifa, has finally confirmed that she will be the running mate of the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran aka known as Jandor.
Recall that days ago, news broke out that the actress was among the selected few to be reviewed as running mate for the PDP Lagos state governorship candidate.
Reacting to this in a video shared via her Instagram page today, July 12, , Funke Adindele officially declared her decision to accept Jandor’s call as the state’s deputy governor.
The movie producer acknowledged that becoming the Deputy Governor of Lagos state meant that her vibrant career would be placed on hold.
According to her, it’s a huge sacrifice but it’s one that needs to be done for the betterment of Lagos state.
