Don’t drag the head position with a man” – Actress Ruth Kadiri advises women

Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, has reacted to the controversy on social media which followed the birthday tributes of General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, for his wife, Folu.

Adeboye, while celebrating his wife who clocked 72, said that the husband is the head of the wife. He went on to praise his wife for always fulfilling her wifely duties (Cooking and serving him food, cutting his nails, etc), which came with a lot of backlash on Twitter.

According to the cleric, no matter how educated or successful you are, your husband is your head and you must regard him as such at all times.

Ruth Kadiri took to Twitter in support of pastor Adeboye, saying that women should not drag the head position with a man.

She wrote:

“Pastor Adeboye isn’t lying at all.The Bible clearly states that Man is the head and the woman should be submissive to him. Don’t drag the position with a man,he will respect you for that. No man wants to lose that position or be denied of it.”
