Adura, the brother of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has spoken publicly for the first time, offering new insight into the troubling events that led up to the artist’s untimely death.

In a recent interview, Adura confirmed that Mohbad was physically assaulted by show promoter Sam Larry and his associates. He revealed that one of the attacks occurred while the late singer was on set with rapper Zlatan. According to Adura, during another confrontation, Sam Larry allegedly pointed a gun at Mohbad.

He also recounted a separate incident at the Marlian house, where Mohbad’s former label boss, Naira Marley, allegedly released dogs on him while crew members reportedly stood by and beat the singer.

“It was a pattern of intimidation and violence,” Adura said.

Speaking on the unclear circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, Adura stated that the singer was initially taken to one hospital before being rushed to a second medical facility, where he was declared dead on arrival. He noted that the first hospital has yet to release any official statement regarding the incident.

Adura further revealed that their father insisted on burying Mohbad the same night he passed away.
