Popular Nigerian businessman and car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, widely known as IVD, has shared emotional details about his personal struggles, family issues, and relationship with social media personality Blessing Okoro, aka Blessing CEO.
During an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast, IVD spoke about the aftermath of his late wife’s passing, describing it as the most difficult chapter of his life. He alleged that his late wife’s family took custody of their five children and has since denied him access to them for over three years.
“I haven’t seen my kids since then. I don’t even know how they are doing,” he said, his voice filled with emotion. “Someone once told me my in-laws were planning to come and take my life. I was shocked.”
Reflecting on the period after his wife’s death, the entrepreneur admitted that it brought him to his lowest point. “I hit ground zero,” he said. “Nobody has heard from me in the last three years. I just went quiet.”
However, amid the pain and silence, IVD found comfort in his partner, Blessing CEO.
The pair, who have sparked controversy in the past, seem to be moving forward with their relationship and possible plans for marriage.
Referring to Blessing as his “wife-to-be,” IVD praised her for bringing a rare sense of peace into his life. “This is the first time I’ve felt peace in a relationship,” he shared. “I can never cheat on her.”
He also revealed that their trust level is so deep that they have complete access to each other’s phones and passwords — a level of openness he says has helped them build a strong connection.
Blessing CEO, known for her bold statements and online presence, once said she could “take lives just to have a man,” a comment that stirred reactions.
