Big Brother Naija star Kassia has publicly addressed the growing pressure from fans urging her and her partner, Kellyrae, to have children.

In a strongly worded Instagram post, Kassia cautioned those dropping comments like “Give us little Kellyrae” or “We’re waiting for baby Kassia,” making it clear that such remarks are neither helpful nor appropriate.

She explained that while the comments may appear harmless or affectionate, they can be deeply insensitive—especially to couples going through personal struggles or simply not ready to take that step.

“Let’s be real, bringing a child into this world is a deeply personal decision. It’s not something you do to satisfy societal timelines or social media expectations,” she wrote.

Kassia stressed that not all couples are on the same path, and parenthood should never be treated as a social milestone to be checked off.

“Some couples are trying and facing delays. Some are not ready. Some have chosen a different path entirely. Whatever the case, children are not a checkbox to tick. They’re a lifetime commitment, not content,” she added.
