Don Jazzy Regrets not Signing Artistes Like Davido, Wizkid, Falz, Simi, and Teni

Nigerian music mogul and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has shocked fans with his latest confession saying he regrets not signing some of Nigeria’s top music stars like Davido, Wizkid, Falz, Simi, and Teni simply because he liked them personally.Speaking in a recent interview, Don Jazzy admitted that in the past, he allowed emotions to influence his business decisions. He revealed that liking someone as a person doesn’t always mean they are the right fit for his record label.

I wished I signed artist like davido, wizkid, falz, Simi but we couldn’t work it out. I knew davido was going to be fine compared to wizkid which banky w got first and also the likes of falz and Simi which didn’t worked out

While all five mentioned artists have gone on to become big names in the industry, Don Jazzy regrets not signing this artist because he would have really loved to have them in his record label.

According to him, personal connection and admiration should never outweigh proper planning and business sense.
