American Tennis Star, Coco Gauff Fulfills 2021 Dream, Wins French Open Title 2025 (DETAILS/IMAGES)

Coco Gauff has achieved what she once wrote down as a dream, winning the French Open. On June 7, 2025, the 21-year-old American tennis star defeated world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in an intense match (6-7, 6-2, 6-4) to claim her first-ever French Open title. This win makes Gauff the youngest American woman to win the tournament since Serena Williams in 2002.

After her emotional victory, Gauff praised her opponent and reflected on her own journey. “I want to congratulate Aryna, you deserve all the results that you have,” she said. Gauff also shared a line from Tyler, The Creator that meant a lot to her: “If I ever told you I had a doubt inside me, I must be lying.”

Shortly after, she posted a heartfelt note on Instagram — a throwback from 2021 where she had written, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” She also highlighted that year as the moment she set her heart on this exact goal.
