Nigerian billionaire and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has shared his hope for a better Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership. Speaking during a recent event in Lagos, Dangote said, “The next two years will be much better.” He made it clear that although things are tough now, he believes there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Dangote spoke about the federal government’s economic decisions, including the removal of fuel subsidies, changes in forex policy, and new tax plans. While these steps have caused hardship for many, Dangote encouraged Nigerians to be patient.

He explained that real development takes time and stressed the importance of improving people’s living conditions. As he put it, “What we need is for people to earn decent incomes.” He also credited President Tinubu for supporting key projects like the Lekki Free Trade Zone.

Referring to his newly commissioned refinery, Dangote told Tinubu, “Our refinery is in many ways your brainchild.” Despite the current economic challenges, Dangote’s words show hope that better days are coming if the reforms are followed through.
