Media personality, Enioluwa has slammed the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) over the recent news of mass failures and poor handling of this year’s UTME.
In a video shared online, he cited out the board’s excuses, questioning how an N18 billion budget could still amount in technical issues that put over 1.1 million students’ fates on hold.
“The exam is computer-based and objective,” he said. “It should show your results immediately, break down your errors, and explain them. None of that happened.”
He stressed that if not for viral videos that circulated online, the public might never have known the extent of the problem. He further criticized the decision to reschedule the exam, accusing the board of prioritizing its own convenience over the students’.
Enioluwa then concluded by urging the exam body to take full accountability:
“Go back to the drawing board and properly plan the examination. Dot the I’s, cross the T’s—not cry on TV.”
