Media personality, Toke Makinwa has revealed the importance of respect and love in relationships and marriages.

Taking to her insta-story, the vlogger stated that men are commanded by God to love their Women, while Women should respect their men.

Toke Makinwa added that a woman who does not feel loved cannot give respect and a man who does not feel respected cannot give out love.

In her words;

“God’s command to men to LOVE, his command to women is to Respect. He then skillfully connected both. A woman who doesn’t feel loved cannot give respect and a man who feels disrespected disconnects and cannot give love.

In essence, when a woman doesn’t feel valued or loved, she feels the man is not worthy of her respect and doesn’t give it. When a man feels he isn’t respected, he disconnects, shuts down and his actions lead to the woman feeling unloved.”
